    Pros +

    • I had the problem with the coin laundry. I put ¥300 yen but the washing machine didnt start but they refunded my money quickly. Thank you for your service
    • Very friendly and helpful staff!
    • Convenient and clean.Grateful for a front desk staff on Apr 3 morning ( around 6+ am) who upon our enquiry on transfer to airport and our difficulty to get taxi from App as we don’t have Japan mobile contact, offered right away to call taxi for us and told us the hotel has link to 4 taxi companies, and within minutes he got us two taxis. His excellent service was so different from what we were told on Apr 2’s staff who served us (refer to next comment)

    Cons -

    • The carpeted floors in the hallways are filthy. Stains all over them. Really off putting. The beds are a bit hard and the rooms could use a new paint job (especially around the luggage area and/or on the closet doors, but the location is fantastic and the views are amazing!
    • On April 2, upon our enquiry for transfer to airport, a front desk staff told us there is no taxi so early (around 6:30am) to airport because in Fukuoka, taxi driver don’t start work so early! And told us we can try using App to find our own way or else take train. We were very disappointed with the service offered. And was appalled that Fukuoka transport is so bad! At that moment we regretted booking the hotel for our stay before departing Fukuoka as getting to airport is so difficult.
    • The Wifi is vey poor and weak. Room that we stayed in had seem some wear and needs a paint job.

The location is great. Nearby access to Tenjin and Nagusa Kawabata trains. Excellent cafe downstairs. Reception is very organised and a good front to the hotel.

The Wifi is vey poor and weak. Room that we stayed in had seem some wear and needs a paint job.

The property is located in an ideal location for tourist.

The hotel needs upgrading. It’s deceiving to costumers because the lobby looks amazing. The minute you step off of the elevator it looks like you’re at a motel. The carpets were stained with bleach.

    4ColinPosted on: 12-8-2024

    Good location.

Bed was rock hard, as was the small pillow. Carpet was stained and unclean, particularly in the corridors. Breakfast was very poor.

    7MariePosted on: 12-1-2024

The view on the river, the location in the middle of the town and the friendly staff at the reception.

    6NgamjitPosted on: 11-28-2024

Location is close to Tenjin shopping zone and subway, however if your plan is commuting through Hakata station, you have to take subway or bus to be there which is tight during rush hour. The building is locating next to river which is nice view, however if you travel with couple and book for a single bed, it will be a city view. They give you new towel and pajamas everyday by hanging at your door. The food was simple, same menu everyday and ran out super fast.

There is bunches of dust everywhere, on top of lamp, on top of the door. I sneezed a lot from my allergy. The bathtub is small, the closet is old, the wall is very thin. I could hear banging noise from other rooms every night. They give you only one pillow and it was kind of healthy pillow? It has a weird sensation and not soft at all.Should have give option of river view for single bed type of room.Bidet, wash bowl and bathtub are in one room. I had to do my make up while my couple was doing his private business. No room for shoes. No shower cap provided. If you will leave to the airport via subway, avoid rush hour. Also it’s not convenient to take a bus with huge luggages. So your best choice would be a taxi which you can ask one at the lobby.

The location was good, and from my window I could see a good view of the canal, and the spectacular lights at night.

The staff was a bit weird. I checked in for one night, and then I asked about availability for the following couple of nights. He seemed to be really suspicious, and generally seemed obtuse. Like he was trying to dissuade me from staying! Not really sure why? I think it is perfect reasonable to book at short notice when you have a sudden business trip. It was constantly, no, “we can’t do that”. I prefer staff who are welcoming and supportive. Luckily a female member of staff came over, understood and took care of the subsequent reservation easily. The other problem is the facility is in really bad condition. The stains on the floor are unbelievable. Couldn’t they get new flooring and it generally smelt bad. The lobby area was bright and attractive hiding the reality of a very shabby hotel.

Exceptional service from housekeeping and they did a great job amongst a hotel that hasn’t had too much investment needed to upgrade it.

An outdated hotel with excessive stained carpets in hallways and rooms that had peeling paint on windows etc.

Good housekeeping on roomsClassy reception area

    - Dated furnishings. But well maintained- The self service payment kiosk. I don't understand why the counter staff could not process payment at the counter since they already helped to check in. After a long tiring flight, guests would preferably like a full service check in offered by the staff

    Breakfast alittle bid cold

    4GonzaloPosted on: 6-29-2024

Very well located, breakfast was good with superb views to the river, the lobby was impressive.

The carpets of the corridors were depressing: stains and smell; a huge contrast with the lobby, where they invested much more. The room was ok but old-fashioned, and not very spacious. But the worst was the wifi, which never worked well, going on and off all the time, and was off for long periods. Wifi is crucial when you are in another country, especially in Japan where you can't even read the signs on the street (so you try to plan your travel and buy your tickets from the hotel). We contacted the reception about the wifi but all they said was they were sorry but had no idea when it would be fixed (this lasted 4 days). Our worst experience in hotels in Japan.

Staff attitude is good, spick and span.Girls' shopping paradise.Close to subway.

The sound insulation of the room is not good, can hear voices from outside and neighbours.

    8DavidPosted on: 5-24-2024

Bog room for Japanese standards and great location near the sibway and the lively neighbourhoods.

Little bit outdated but it was clean.

    8AdamPosted on: 5-20-2024

This is a nice small business style hotel but with outstanding riverside views which also let in a lot more light than normal business hotels. The facilities were sufficiently clean and the location was central enough to make walking or using public transport easy.

While the room was up to standard, I don't think this would be a suitable location for large groups of families, and is more aimed toward solo travelers or business people. The services available were also very limited and their is little to no English support if you need that.

    6EdmondPosted on: 4-4-2024

It is in a good location and very affordable.

Rooms were dusty and not maintained well.

The hotel is located near down town Fukuoka and next to the river. The city is clean and beautiful flowers were planted everywhere. The weather was cold and the most of the cherry trees were not ready to bloom.

I felt, some of the business and people do not welcome an American visitors. We had dinner at the restaurant displayed foreigners welcome. The service was phenomenal and the dinner was exceptionally delicious!!! We had a wonderful memorable evening!
